Our breakfast Briefings are normally panel discussions, where experts and influencers from government, academia, the public and private sectors debate a pre-agreed agenda – moderated by a Canongate journalist.
Each Panellist will take the floor for 10 minutes, followed by questions from the chair, and the audience. The usual format will be informal, commencing at 8.30am, but can be at lunchtime or early evening and lasting for 60-90 minutes. We would usually anticipate 4 speakers.
Your Briefing will be hosted in front of an invited audience, with questioning curated from Twitter, allowing non-attendees to fully participate. All Briefings can be broadcast live or filmed and watched on demand.
A full report written by our journalists will be published in an appropriate edition of The Times Scotland, and articles from panellists and sponsors posted on our website for 12 months.
Sponsors are a critical and valued part of Canongate Events offering. Our editorial teams will work with you to develop the right agenda and format, and invite the most influential panellists and speakers.
Your branding will be fully integrated into all event materials at the venue, on stage and on all digital platforms.
Canongate will oversee all logistics including, identifying the most suitable venue, provide the chair, send invitations, and arrange catering.
